Our Next War: Iraq?

Hardliners within the media, Congress, and the Bush Administration have been ratcheting up to pressure to make Iraq the next target in the White House's ill-defined, open-ended war against terrorism.

However, the US government has yet to produce credible evidence directly linking Saddam Huessin or the Iraqi people to the September 11th terrorists attacks on the United States. Meanwhile, innocent Iraqi civilians continue to suffer under a brutal ten year old US-backed sanctions regime.

Help Peace Action of New York State prevent another war against the people of Iraq and help us end the sanctions regime that continues to take the lives of innocent Iraqi civilians

Afghanistan: Averting a Humanitarian Crisis

We are united in our sorrow and shock at the September 11 attack upon our city. Living the shadow of this tragedy, we wish to affirm our sense of community, our desire for justice and our renewed appreciation of the value of human life. Join Peace Action in our pledge for a non-violent and truly just response to terrorism and a safer world

Six Steps Toward A Foreign Policy
That Makes Us Safer

As we grapple with the appropriate responses to terrorism it is important to recall how US foreign policies have helped fuel conflict and destablization. Our colleagues at California Peace Action drafted these six guidelines for a safer, more sane U.S. foreign policy.
