				Working for Peace - Our Issues Stopping the War Despite overwhelming international opposition and serious doubts at home the Bush administration continues to beat the drums of war and is even considering the use of nuclear weapons against Iraq. However, the US government has thus far been unable to link Saddam Huessin or the Iraqi people to the September 11th terrorists attacks on the United States. Meanwhile, innocent Iraqi civilians continue to suffer under a brutal ten year old US-backed sanctions regime. Help Peace Action of New York State prevent another war against the people of Iraq and help us end the sanctions regime that continues to take the lives of innocent Iraqi civilians The Campaign for a New American Foreign Policy is a nationwide campaign to build public pressure for a new direction in the United States' approach to international relations. We advocate new policies, rooted in our nation's core values and designed to increase the security, not just of America, but of the world. Our country deserves a break from the failed policies of the past Nuclear Disarmament No New Nuclear Weapons The Bush Administration has requested $15.5 million to develop a new nuclear weapon designed to be used in conventional combat, and that is also more likely to be used against states that don't have nuclear weapons.
