Volunteer your time, skills, and energy.
We always need volunteers to help in a variety of ways to keep our organization moving. These are some ways to get involved. If there's something else you'd like to give, let us know!

Membership Outreach
Members are the heart of our strength. Memberships provide both the financial resources and political clout to effectively organize for peace. To keep our membership strong we need to reach out to current and potential members all the time.

Help with membership renewal phone calls. We'll provide you with a script, names, a phone and whatever else you need.

Be a Peace Action tabler at a local event. Represent Peace Action at the next local fair, or social action event in your area. We will send you pamphlets, information and a tip sheet for what to do.

Political Outreach
Host an issue-based letter writing party at your house. Invite friends and neighbors to write handwritten letters to your Representative, Senator or to the local paper about the issue. We'll have sample letters on this site soon.

Be a team leader for a lobby visit to your Representative. Let us know you want to do this and we'll send you materials, help you set up the appointment and put you in touch with other Peace Action members in your area.

Invite us to speak about non-proliferation, the war or other relevant topic at another group you belong to.

Write text or help with layout for newsletters or issue flyers.
Help organize our filing so we can find things.
